The Charlotte Junior Chamber will be a vendor at Taste of Charlotte. We are going to do a "Hair Flair" Booth to raise money for our organization. We will be using washable hair color to create colorful streaks in our customers hair. This booth will be targeted to children, but all ages are welcome.

Come join the Charlotte Jaycees miniature golfing at Purple Planet in Belmont. It will be a fun and exciting time for the whole family. Cost is $5.00 per person and covers golf, food, and beverage while the fun times are FREE!! We look forward to seeing you.

The Charlotte Jaycees will sponsor a blood drive for the Community Blood Center on Wednesday, June 17th from 5:30pm to 7:15pm. This drive will take place at CBCC in their donor room at 4447 South Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28209. The Community Blood Center is the primary source of blood for the local hospitals providing over 90% of the needed blood supply which saves local lives! Your participation saves lives, saves families! If you can’t come during those hours you can drop in during that week to donate, just let Bridgett know and she'll tell you how.

Huge OFFICIAL Announcement!

The United Nations will no longer recognize the birth of Air Supply’s former guitarist and rock legend, Rex Goh, on May 5th. Instead, they have unanimously agreed to recognize May 5th as Charlotte Junior Chamber May Monthly Meeting Day. Hooray!

All subsequent recognitions such as Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo and the 1945 German surrender in Norway will be submitted for recognition approval in 2010.
