About Charlotte Jaycees

Since 1929, The Charlotte Junior Chamber has been the premier organization for young professionals ages 21 to 39. Based upon the foundational characteristics of leadership, community service and individual development, the Junior Chamber offers opportunities for young professionals to grow and mature into the leaders of tomorrow.

The Junior Chamber, also known as the “Jaycees,” is a member driven organization where leadership development is acquired through actual opportunities to lead. We serve our community and the Jaycee movement as a whole through the year-round execution of community and individual development projects, all while advancing and sharpening the next civic, business and community leaders for Charlotte and abroad.

Our core mission is rooted in faith, economic justice through free enterprise, a strong, transparent, fair government, the power of human personality and service to humanity.
