Nominations for 2012 Governing Board of Directors

The offices of President, First Vice President, Vice Presidents, State Director, Secretary and Treasurer shall be elected at the first regular general membership meeting on November 8th 2011.
Nominations for these positions shall begin at the first regular general membership meeting on October 4th 2011.

The elected directors shall be elected at the firs regular general membership meeting on December 6th 2011 with nominations beginning at the first general meeting on November 8th 2011.
At each election, the floor shall be open to nominations from the general membership.
Nomination protocol to be followed:
Nominations shall be opened one meeting prior to election.
Canidates for officer or director must be present to accept nomination.
Candidates for officer or director must be present for election unless approved by existing executive committee.
The time alotted for campaign speeches:
Presidential candidates shall have 10 minutes.
Executive committee candidates shall have 5 minutes.
Director candidates shall have 3 minutes.
The time alotted for each candidate nomination and campaign speech shall be equal. The order of nomination and campaign speeches shall be determined by the President by a coin toss or other like method. No member’s name shall be placed on the ballot until the president and secretary have certified that they are eligible to serve.
Voting
Each regular member in good standing shall be entitled to cast one vote for each office or directorship to be filled.
